Resume
At the University of Alberta, I enjoyed Japanese and still nearly failed it while obtaining a BA with a major in English, a minor in Psychology and a growing love for Comparative Literature and Film Studies.
At the University of British Columbia I was accepted into the Creative Writing Program and was awarded a BFA with Honors. My thesis involved working on an original screenplay with award winning writer Linda Svendsen (Human Cargo) while learning from such talent as Maureen Medved (The Tracey Fragments) and several other great writers in Vancouver.
My strengths are story editing, producing witty copy, a sometimes dark, slightly offbeat campy sense of humor, and an appreciation and awe of “normal”. Think “Hapiness” and “Me and You and Everyone We Know”.
Having emerged from academia I am very familiar with meeting deadlines in a timely fashion, doing project research, and workshoping (complete with constructive criticism).
