My Post Secrets

Dear Squash,
Dear Squash,
You looked so delicious in the veggie store that I just had to buy you and take you home. Your magnificent stem put all the other squash to shame and the little spot of orange on your belly makes you seem cute and playful. I want everyone to know that you were every bit as tasty as you looked.
Rest in peace knowing you made my belly very happy.

RIP. perky little squash
The Battle Rages on…
After selling my car because I had to stop pumping money into it for repairs every six months I got a bus pass. I’ve either become spoiled or the bus really never was that great. Either way I’m dreaming of these delicious possibilities for my next mode of transportation. Sadly they will remain a dream until they both become financially viable and clearly the best suited to my needs. Honda Ruckus, Yamaha Vino, Nissan Pao or Nissan Figaro. I want to caress you all.

Pao Vs. Figaro, Ruckus Vs. Vino
Regardless which one wins, I hope I don’t come out the loser.
Who are your strangers?
One of my favorite things to do is get coffee and sit by a window or outside just watching people go by. Sometimes I make up stories for them. Sometimes I judge them to be this or that based on how they look or act in the brief time they walk past or cross the street. Sometimes I just watch and I’m glad there’s so much diversity in humans.
Today I found a film project by David Lynch. Yes the same David Lynch of such great films as Eraserhead and Blue Velvet. His interview project is a series of shorts that introduces random strangers across America and gives you a subtle little peek into their lives. Sometimes a flash of insight is better than imagining.
